Cleaning/Maintenance

Cleaning

The recommended way to clean our products is to use a mild soap or detergent such as 409 and a soft cloth or sponge. Daily cleaning will prevent soil build-up. Do not use an abrasive cleaner.

Surface scratches

Cultured marble is protected by a gel coat layer which is impervious to stain. Scratches or surface damage (i.e. Cigarette burn) not removable by a non-abrasive cleaner can be removed by wet sanding with 600 grit sandpaper. Gloss can be restored with a fine rubbing compound and an electric buffer at about 2000 rpm’s.
