Warranty

Marble Works, Inc. warrants its products to be free from defects in material or workmanship for a period of ten years.  This warranty is given to the original purchaser in a residential application. Marble Works, Inc., at their choice, may elect to repair or replace any product covered by this warranty.  This warranty covers all products purchased after January 1, 2007.

Material installed by Marble Works, Inc:

This warranty does not apply where items have been improperly stored or improperly installed unless the product was originally installed by Marble Works, Inc. If the product was installed by Marble Works, then the labor to remove and reinstall said product will be covered under this warranty for a period of one year.  Damage to any adjacent surface during removal or reinstallation caused from normal construction practices are not covered under this warranty.  Any plumbing, electrical, or other work required by another trade to accommodate the removal or reinstallation of the warranted product is also not covered under this warranty.  This warranty does not cover the following: costs of removing warranted material or the installation of replacement material after one year from the original date of purchase, normal wear and tear or damage/defects caused by misuse, abuse, negligence or modification in any way. This warranty is also not applicable to the following:  1) Damages to the product while in transit by any person other than a representative of Marble Works, Inc.; 2) Cracks or chips in surfaces of products unless caused by defects in workmanship or materials; 3) Slight imperfections, warpage and shade variations in product; 4) Vanity top sink bowls and showers used in an environment where water temperatures exceed 110°F.

Material not installed by Marble Works, Inc:

This warranty does not apply where items have been improperly stored or improperly installed.  This warranty does not cover the following: costs of removing warranted material or the installation of replacement material, shipping, normal wear and tear or damage/defects caused by misuse, abuse, negligence or modification in any way. This warranty is also not applicable to the following:  1) Damages to the product while in transit by any person other than a representative of Marble Works, Inc.; 2) Cracks or chips in surfaces of products unless caused by defects in workmanship or materials; 3) Slight imperfections, warpage and shade variations in product; 4) Vanity top sink bowls and showers used in an environment where water temperatures exceed 110°F.

Marble Works, Inc. reserves the right to inspect claimed defective products. No returns, replacements or repairs may be made without prior written consent. Some replacement parts may vary from those originally supplied and are subject to availability.

This warranty is the sole warranty of Marble Works, Inc. and in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability and fitness for a particular use. Labor charges for removal of or installation of warranted material as well as incidental or consequential damages are excluded. We do not assume for us any other liability in connection with the sale of our product.

This warranty shall not apply to damage from the following: Improper installation, physical or chemical abuse, the use of plumbers putty instead of 100% silicone, exposure to excessive heat or improper maintenance including improper adhesive, caulk or grout.  This warranty is extended only to the first consumer purchase of our products.  To obtain warranty service, write to:  Marble Works, Inc.  PO Box 386 Carlisle, IA 50047; giving information as to your date of purchase of the product, the place of purchase, a description of the claimed defects, and your name, address and telephone number.  A copy of your original sales receipt will be required.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state.  Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the limitations contained in this warranty may not apply to you.  Some states do not allow exclusions of limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the limitations contained in this warranty may also not apply to you.
